What facilitation is, and what it is not

Psilocybin facilitation is a licensed, non-clinical role created by two state programs: Colorado's Natural Medicine program and Oregon Psilocybin Services. A facilitator prepares you for a psilocybin experience, stays with you for the full length of the session, and supports you as you make sense of it afterward. I hold this license in both states.

Facilitation is not medical care, psychiatric care, or psychotherapy, and I want to be plain about that. I do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe in this work, and I do not provide psilocybin. Where psilocybin is part of a facilitated experience, it is provided through licensed programs and facilities under state regulation. What I offer is preparation, steady presence, and integration: the human structure around the experience.

How we work together

Every engagement follows the same arc. We begin with a complimentary 15-minute consultation, just a conversation about what draws you to this work. If it feels like a fit, you complete an intake and eligibility review; some health histories and medications call for extra care, and I take that screening seriously. Then come preparation sessions, where we clarify your intentions, talk through what the day itself will hold, and practice the skills you will lean on: breath, grounding, asking for what you need.

The administration session takes place at a licensed healing center in Colorado or a licensed service center in Oregon. It lasts most of a day. My job during those hours is simple and complete: to hold dedicated, attentive space while you have your own experience. Afterward, we meet for integration sessions to ground what surfaced and connect it to your daily life.

What I bring to the room

Before I was a facilitator I spent years as a board-certified psychiatric and family nurse practitioner. In this work I set the prescription pad down entirely, but the awareness stays: of trauma, of the nervous system, of how much safety matters before anything meaningful can happen. I speak English and Russian, and my own path as a woman and an immigrant shapes the room I hold. This work is available to adults 21 and older, is private pay, and always starts with an honest conversation about whether it is right for you.
